Announcing the release of “Conquering Lion ” EP by Melodican

“Conquering Lion EP“ is Melodican showcasing his highly musical, multi-talented abilities. On this five song offering produced in it’s entirety by Melodican,  he traverses the reggae landscape with instrumental roots, dub and melodica. Featuring a cover tribute to maestro Lee “Scratch” Perry with “Bird In Hand” and original compositions Melodican displays keen musical sensibilities. Well thought out compositions, performances and production that displays depth, texture and complexity, Conquering Lion EP is instrumental reggae music, at it’s finest. 

Melodican was a part of Coxsone’s Studio One New York stable, where he along with the Rebel Souls band released the 12” single “Conscious Radio” on the label. The release has become a "sought after" amongst Studio One vinyl collectors. Melodican has performed with a multitude of bands in the USA, playing reggae. In 2020, Melodican released Classical Meditations Vol.1 & 2. He also together with DJ Astro Black on their Astro Melody Records label released the Transfuser Riddim which was listed on IRIE Magazine’s IRIE 100(2020) playlist and featured in the May 2020 RIDDIM section.
