The sensational Grammy-winning Jamaican reggae band, Morgan Heritage has been slightly delayed. The long-awaited Island Vibes African Tour in Johannesburg is still going to happen as plan, but early next year.“Whilst no one wants to delay this homecoming, we have been forced to push it forward it to next year,” says Richard Dube of Gumption Entertainment Inc. “This is owing to logistical challenges.”The scheduled show for Johannesburg in October 2022, will now take place early next year.
Gumption Entertainment Inc, the organisers of the show have vowed to honour all tickets sold to date. They advise that ticket holders must eitherhold onto their tickets, as they’ll still be eligible to use them when the show is staged in a much bigger venue or claim their refunds from Webtickets.“We are excited that this postponement has given us enough time to solidify our working relations with our many partners, including the technical andlogistical ones,” says Dube.“Come next year, the loyal fans of Morgan Heritage are set for a high energy extravaganza of pop-influenced reggae sounds.” “We will be announcing the dates and venue as soon as this information becomes available. This way, our fans can prepare themselves.”
