The 1st Lady of Frontline Productions Tsoseletso Valencia Motsepe aka Reign Afrika bags the highly contested #BestReggaeAlbum award at this year's South African Music Awards for her album "Trailblazer", she was also nominated in the Female Artist Of The Year category. Reign Afrika was pitted against other strong contenders, He Crowned I Emperor – Skeleton Blazer, Hard To Believe – Ras Canly, The Shift – Botanist Mr Lamington and Ngatanngwe – Red I Scorch.
The 5th time nominee (SAMA27: Female Artist of the Year, Best Reggae Album & Newcomer of the Year) made Reggae history in South Africa as she became the first artist in the genre to grace the SAMAs stage and subsequently bagged the Best Reggae Album award.
The beautiful songstress looked angelic and glorious and held her composure while belting her ode to the Queens "Qhawekazi" taken from her 2020 album "On The Frontline", apt for the momentous occasion.
