The Wakanda Queens have established themselves as a force to be reckoned with in Mzansi Reggae Summer Festival Netball Challenge. Their dynamic teamwork, unyielding defense, and electrifying play style have made them fan favorites and solidified their reputation as champions.
For Vhovho (C), this match is not just about maintaining their winning streak but also about continuing to inspire young women to pursue their dreams fearlessly.
"The perpetration of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and femicide constitutes a grave violation of human rights and dignity, encompassing physical, emotional, sexual, and psychological harm inflicted upon individuals based on their gender. Femicide, the most extreme manifestation of GBV, results in the murder of women and girls, perpetuating gender inequality, entrenching harmful gender stereotypes, and exacerbating systemic power imbalances. It is crucial to acknowledge the severity of GBVF, support survivors, and collaborate towards prevention, accountability, and policy reform to create a society where gender equality and human rights are upheld, and GBVF is eradicated, ensuring a community where all individuals can live free from fear and violence.” Vhovho
As the Mzansi Reggae Summer Festival celebrates its 5th anniversary, organizers Lioness Productions SA promise an event that will surpass all expectations.
