Due to unforeseen circumstances, The Clarens Cannabis Experience has been postponed until March 2023. Neked Productions had to make the difficult decision of postponing the event set to take place over the Human Rights Weekend this March.
Neked Founder, Vanessa Jarvis Findlay says, “We wanted to give all our festival patrons the best possible experience from the speaker workshops to the live entertainment but unfortunately, due to reasons beyond our control, this was not meant to be.”
All is not lost for people travelling to Clarens over the long weekend, as Neked will host a “Mini Cannabis Experience” at its fine establishment on the Main Street in Clarens so that patrons can experience everything Neked has to offer. “We invite all to join us at Neked and to sample our amazing CBD coffee or CBD Rooibos tea on the house.” Jarvis Findlay says.
As a build up to the March 2023 Cannabis Experience, Neked will also be hosting mini events on their beautiful deck every last Sunday of the month from 11am until 4pm.
“With the South African governments plan to review the policy and regulatory framework to ease the way for industrial hemp and cannabis production, we are hopeful that the industry will be able to grow in leaps and bounds” says Jarvis Findlay. “There is still a lot of work needing to be done regarding the stigmatisation of the cannabis plant and Neked aims to continue to fight the good fight and urges everyone in the industry or interested in pursuing a career in the industry to support one another as South Africa has the potential to become world leaders in this flourishing industry.”
All tickets that have been purchased will be refunded in full within the next 24 hours and patrons will be contacted directly with information.
