Thabiso "Layahn King" Mayekiso is a musician, activist, songwriter, and a pianist. He has been doing music for almost 15/20 years. He Lived in the KwaZulu-Natal, Newcastle and Durban then moved to Gauteng more than 10 years ago to persuade his music career. He has worked with a few artist like Bravo, Cevin Riss, Slice, DJ Sanza, Nstiki Mazwai, RJ Benjamin and performed in 3 Provinces, also at Jabulani Theatre, Kwa Lichaba, Sedibeng, Lehae, just to mention a few.
His short-term goal is to win the South African Music Award and a Metro FM Award, long-term is to bag a Grammy Award.

This EP features 9 different songs with different emotions and inspirations. "Ghetto Love" talks about the love of the place you come from even if the are awful people or harmful energies, we never stop doing good and showing love for the ones that needs it. "African Queen" is dedicated to the Empressess and Mama African's beauty.
Rise up
Talks about the rising of people from the mistreatment of the leaders and the privileged. Our people are victims of the war they haven't started. As an activist in his community and country, he has observed such partial treatment from community leaders to national ones. People must rise up and wise up and stop supporting what they don't comprehend.
One Love
The song talks about loving each other even if it rains, we need to be strong for one another. These pagans are destroying us because we don't love each other from the heart.
Children of the Most High
This song speaks for itsself, we must know ourselves and act like the Children of the Most High. Embrace yourself and the power in you as the children of the Light.
