Reggae Songstress Sandy is set to release her latest EP "Signature"

On the 28th of February, a significant moment in history will unfold. After a long journey, Sandy, a Zimbabwean reggae singer based in Cape Town, is stepping into the spotlight. Before her rise, she worked as a cashier at Royal Ras Centre, where her love for authentic reggae rhythms flourished as she watched One Drop Band perform. This passion led her to join the band and start recording with King Dread.

Sandy previously honed her skills as a backup vocalist in Harare, performing with various groups, including Tawanda mwana wa Charie and Vybez Crew. Now, she has established herself in the Western Cape by singing with One Drop Band, continuing to nurture her reggae passion. 

On February 28, 2025, she will release her highly anticipated EP titled "Signature," which embodies her determination to leave a mark in the international reggae scene. This five-track Roots Rock Reggae EP features lyrics penned by Sandra Mudenda, with all music composed, arranged, produced, mixed, and mastered by the esteemed producer/engineer Terrence "King Dread" Mpakula at King Dread Studios.
